Advertise

Naturally, we're not in this for the money, but developing and managing websites costs money and takes loads of time, so we're glad to team up with local businesses to offer rotational advertising. Advertising can be purchased on a monthly basis and the 468x60 banner ad image can be hosted either on our server or your own (which would allow you to update the ad whenever you would like).

But like I said, we're not just in this for the money, so we allow advertising to be purchased through donations and volunteer hours. Here's a rough outline of options that we offer.

• Cold, hard cash
  

  One month:	$1/day	x	30 days	= $30
  Three months:	$0.90/day	x	90 days	= $81
  Six months:	$0.80/day	x	180 days	= $144
  One year:	$0.60/day	x	365 days	= $219

• Donations
  We're planning prize giveaways to randomly selected contributors to the website every month. If you would like a month's worth of free advertising, simply make a donation valued at $30 or more. Gift certificates are especially encouraged.
• Volunteering
  We want our community to develop, and we're happy to support people that are putting their time into community service. If you would like to volunteer your time to a community project and redeem your volunteer hours for advertising through The Muncie Scene, we are more than happy to accomodate. At the moment, we are offering this option to people volunteering for community projects sponsored by the Full Circle Arts Co-op, though we are open to expanding this to incorporate other 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations into our eligible groups.
  Six hours of volunteer time are redeemable for one month of inclusion in ad rotation. Volunteers taking this option are limited to redeeming their time for one ad per business, person, or organization per month. Volunteer time cannot be redeemed for free ad design. Volunteer hours must be confirmed by an eligible organization's volunteer coordinator.
